Performance test according to the official introduction, the theoretical sequential read speed of the Dadao 510K 2TB solid state disk can reach about 10000MB/s, and the sequential write speed can reach about 9500MB/s, with the life of 1400TBW and 5-year limited warranty support.
This time, we installed it on the gigabyte B650I AORUS ULTRA motherboard for testing, and used the M.2 active heat dissipation module of the motherboard for temperature control. In terms of the specific hardware test platform, in addition to this motherboard, we also equipped with AMD 7600X processor and Ying Ruida DDR5 4800MHz 16GB*2 memory strip, BIOS updated to the latest version, all the following tests are based on this platform, the results are for reference only.
When working normally on standby, through the professional hard disk information software CrystalDiskInfo, you can see that the hard disk temperature of Dadao 510K 2TB solid state disk is 44 degrees, the health status of the hard disk is 98%, and the performance is good.
After the full erase and write operation, open the CrystalDiskMark software to see that the actual available capacity of the Dadao 510K 2TB solid state disk is 1.863TB.
Then start the test, first of all, in the case of clean disk (empty disk), we tested the read and write speed of 1GiB and 16GiB respectively. The sequential read and write speed of Seq Q8T1 is basically within the error range, and the writing speed is above 10000MB/s, exceeding the official propaganda 9500MB/s. This group of performance is indeed the flagship level, and the speed is much higher than the solid state of PCIe4.0. At the same time, this hard disk has a strong ability to continuously read and write large files.
Compared with the performance of the empty disk, we should be more concerned about the performance of the full disk. After all, the hard disk itself is used to hold things, especially for 2TB users with large storage requirements. Whether there is a performance loss after a full disk or near full disk is much more important than the performance of an empty disk. So we tested 50% dirty disk and 96% dirty disk respectively, and re-tested the running score of CDM. In the case of 50% dirty disk, the sequential read and write speed of Seq Q8T1 was always maintained at 10000MB/s, which can be said to have no speed drop.
In the 96% dirty disk CDM score test, Seq Q8T1 read speed is still strong, but write speed dropped to 3400MB/s.
We all know that 4K refers to the random reading of small 4KiB Q1T1 files, and the corresponding delay is the average response time of accessing the hard disk during the test. Generally speaking, the higher the 4K score, the lower the delay score. This test is very close to the scenario of copying folders containing multiple files in your daily use. Through the CDM test, its SLC buffer 4K random read is 83, and the delay is only 48. This performance is also very good.
Seven-read and three-write refers to the mixed read-write test with 4096 bytes in Q1T1. Generally speaking, when you start the software from the hard disk or open the game to load or load the map, most of the ultra-small files around 4KiB are used, and there are both reading and writing, the proportion of read operations is more, and the two working states of the hard disk are carried out at the same time. So this test is very suitable for consumers' daily use scenarios.
You can call up this test combination in the original CDM. Just look at the last data in the third column and the fourth row in the figure. The larger the number, the better, that is, the score of 105. what is the specific concept? At present, we are most familiar with it, generally used in the high-end omnipotent and game version of the OEM solid-state 1TB version of Samsung PM9A1 seven read and write scores of about 104m-105k, so Dadao 510K 2TB solid-state drive performance of the flagship level.
As a comprehensive PC test software, PC Mark 8 also contains a very detailed storage performance test project for the hard disk. The test results include scores, bandwidth and sub-scores of 10 items, such as game testing, office software and professional software, covering all aspects of evaluation. Another speed score is the comprehensive reading and writing score of storage performance. The empty disk score of 1028MB/s is significantly higher than that of PCIe4.0 platform, while the 2TB version of Samsung PM9A1 is divided into 803MB/s. There is also a certain gap between the two.
The PCMark 10 Fast system disk benchmark reproduces the performance impact of SSD on a variety of applications through a record-playback principle based on extensive testing of the latest solid state drives. The test project covers system boot, Adobe design suite application, Office office suite application, picture / ISO file copy and copy, multiple game loading process and other test content. The measured Dadao 510K 2TB solid state disk scored 6438 points, bandwidth 648.86MB/s and average access time 23 μ s in the fast system disk test.
The corresponding data disk benchmark test is a comprehensive evaluation of large file copies, game loading speed and latency. Dadao 510K 2TB solid-state disk scored 9226 points, bandwidth 1298.85MB/s, and average access time 16 μ s under 50% dirty disk.
3DMark Storage benchmark simulates common application scenarios such as the creation, reading, writing and moving of game files, including Battlefield 5, call of Duty 15: black Action 4 and Watchman Vanguard. The test will truly simulate the startup and loading of the game on the hard drive, and conduct several rounds of repeated tests excluding special or abnormal scores. After the completion of a total of 21 projects, the final score of Dadao 510K 2TB solid-state disk is 5040, and the average bandwidth is more than 40% higher than that of PCIe4.0 's flagship products.
Nowadays, most solid state drives will simulate a certain amount of SLC cache space. As we said earlier, Dadao 510K 2TB solid state drive is TLC particle solid state, which is slower than SLC. Precisely because the speed of the SLC space structure is the fastest, when the hard disk capacity is sufficient, if part of the idle space is simulated as SLC space, users will first enter the simulated SLC space when writing data to the solid state disk, and then move the data from the SLC space to the TLC space when the system is idle, so that in daily use, as long as your file size is smaller than the SLC cache capacity, you can copy files as quickly as possible. Intradisk replication and other operations.
Now let's test how much SLC simulation space is given to the Dadao 510K 2TB solid-state disk, and how fast it is inside and outside. The most commonly used method is through the HD Tune PRO software, in the read + write mixed data mode, generate a 200GB size of the data packet, the results are read and written around, the average mixed read and write speed is about 8900MB/s, and the curve is relatively flat, so it is obvious that this solid-state disk uses a full simulation.
At present, HD Tune Pro can only generate 200GB packets, and if you add it to it, you will get an error, so I ran again with the test tool urwtest. This time we directly use full write mode, and we can see that the actual write speed at the beginning of the test phase is all at the full speed of 3500MB/s-3600MB/s.
After falling out of the SLC cache, the speed fluctuates around 2000MB/s. The actual calculated SLC cache space is about 208GB when the disk is empty. In the extreme load full write scenario, the temperature of the hard disk also reaches 59 degrees.
Finally, when the hard disk is almost full, the average write speed further dropped to about 1700MB/s, and the highest temperature came to 60 degrees, which is normal in terms of slow speed, but the performance of the hard disk in temperature control is really good, and the heat dissipation accessories that come with the hard disk are only 65 degrees at most.
To sum up, from the test point of view, the overall performance of the Dadao 510K 2TB solid state disk is very excellent, and the read and write speed is well-deserved first echelon. From the perspective of heat dissipation, no matter the heat dissipation vest on the motherboard or the double heat pipe passive heat dissipation vest of Dadao 512K 2TB solid state disk, the temperature is no more than 65 degrees, which is reliable for the scenarios of high load and long-term operation.
