According to CTOnews.com on August 1, Hyundai Motor sold 334986 vehicles worldwide in July, up 1.2% from a year earlier. Of these, 277465 cars were sold outside South Korea, up 1.1% from a year earlier, and South Korean sales rose 2.1% to 57503. Global sales from January to July were 2416508, up 9.3% from a year earlier.

CTOnews.com learned from Hyundai's website that 8531 Grandeur cars were sold in South Korea, 17146 Hyundai SUV models and 10455 luxury brand Genesis models were sold in South Korea.

Hyundai sold more than 19600 electric vehicles (EV) in July, with IONIQ 5 and IONIQ 6 accounting for about 65 per cent of its total electric vehicle sales.
