SEA aims to bring together key stakeholders from industry, academia and government to meet the challenges of finding talent and improving existing workforce skills. The Alliance also actively encourages interested parties to join and participate in the initiative, which aims to consolidate existing partnerships and build new ones, accelerate education and training opportunities, and provide industry resources and services.

CTOnews.com learned from the official that the Semiconductor Education Alliance represents the evolution of Arm's existing education model, and the company is ready to play an "important" coordinating role. Members of the alliance will collaborate through a joint open model managed across multiple forums to share resources, capabilities and expertise.

Arm and EDA partners are developing new VLSI design education resources using state-of-the-art EDA tools and IP

Arm and partners in industry and academia are developing new distance learning solutions in computer engineering and informatics

A global SoC design platform for academia that uses the latest semiconductor manufacturing technologies from Arm and its partners
