CTOnews.com August 1 news, SAIC General Motors released today's July report, the monthly delivery of new energy vehicles exceeded 10,000 for the first time, setting a new high for the company's new energy vehicle delivery volume.

▲ Tuyuan SAIC GM official account, the same as CTOnews.com, learned from SAIC GM's official account that the enterprise delivered a total of 10017 new energy models in July, up 138% from a year earlier and 33.5% from a month earlier. Among them, the Buick E5 Pure Radio and TV University five-seat SUV delivered 3722 vehicles a month, with a cumulative delivery of 8340 vehicles; the Buick E4 sedan car pure electric SUV delivered 1762 vehicles a month; and the Buick E5 Ivia four-wheel drive model will be delivered from August.

SAIC GM also revealed that following the commissioning of two Audenon superplants in Shanghai and Wuhan, construction of the Dongyue Audenon super factory has started and is expected to start production in the first half of 2025. Relying on this electric vehicle platform, SAIC General Motors has launched three pure electric models: Cadillac LYRIQ Reege, Buick ELECTRA E5 and Buick ELECTRA E4. Cadillac's second electric car based on the Orlando platform will also be unveiled this year.

SAIC GM said that by 2025, SAIC GM will invest 70 billion yuan in the new technology of electrification and intelligent network connection, and will launch a total of 10 Orlando platform electric models.
