The source said that Intel Lunar Lake iGPU will be based on Battlemage 'Xe2' architecture, which can achieve up to 64 EU, significantly lower than Meteor Lake's 128 EU.

Intel plans to launch Lunar Lake in 2024 or 2025 and should use Intel 18A process nodes.

MLID previously said that the P core in Lunar Lake will be based on the Lion Cove+ core, while the E core will be based on the Skymont core.

Lunar Lake will use the Alchemist-next schema codenamed "Battlemage" in its iGPU and should see up to 64 Xe 2 execution units (EU).

Lunar Lake because Battlemage migrates to SIMD16 like Ponte Vecchio. CTOnews.com note: since each Xe-Core will contain 8 vector engines (EU) instead of the 16 seen in Alchemist Arc, the number of Xe-Core is still 8.
