The Sony PlayStation Earbuds has recently passed FCC certification, showing that it has noise reduction capabilities and is officially described as a "wireless noise reduction game headset".

The FCC certification file shows the headset model YY 2977 and the USB transceiver model YY 2980.

Sony PS5 game console does not support Bluetooth connection and can connect headphones wirelessly through USB transceivers.

The headset will have a standard hinge box design, without the previously rumored charging box design, and there are rumors that the new Sony game headphones will come with the PlayStation or INZONE brand.
