Area: in the previous work, the playable area is 5x5, of which 9 can be purchased after unlocking all of them. Each piece of land on the map is 1.92 kilometers long and wide, so the total playable area is 92.16 square kilometers, and the maximum area of urban construction land is 33.18 square kilometers.

"Metropolis: skyline 2" is different. First of all, the area of a single map parcel is much smaller than that of the previous one, about 1/3 of that of the previous one, but almost all parcels can be unlocked, up to a total of 441 squares. As a result, the playable map covers an area of 159 square kilometers, which is about five times that of the previous one.

In addition, map parcels do not need to be connected to each other, so the game allows players to build small towns that are separate from each other, and to buy a series of parcels all the way to the edge of the map, creating a new external connection at the edge.

The upper limit of the map height is also significantly increased, so the shape of your ideal city can be more free and changeable.

Theme: in the previous work, the theme determines the natural environment of the map, and each theme has a predetermined setting.

The theme in "Metropolis: skyline 2" is the style of roads and buildings, and there are two themes for creating new maps: Europe and North America.
