Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--
CTOnews.com, August 1 (Xinhua)-- A rare collection of Apple items has been auctioned on the RR auction site, including the second cheque in Apple's history, signed by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak's co-founders, a functioning Apple-1 computer and an unopened original iPhone phone.
According to reports, this check was issued by Apple on March 19, 1976 in the amount of $116.97 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 838 yuan), payable to Ramlor, Inc. This is a manufacturer of printed circuit boards based in Palo Alto. The check, numbered "2", is a temporary check issued after Apple opened its first bank account, 13 days before Apple was officially established. At that time, Jobs, Wozniak and Ronald Wayne signed a partnership agreement on April 1, formally founded Apple computer. Under the agreement, the two Steve each own 45% of the company, while Wayne holds 10%. In addition, the agreement requires the approval of the two partners for any expense of more than $100-which may be why the check requires the signatures of Jobs and Wozniak. Based on the date of this check, it is reasonable to speculate that it is related to the first Apple-1 computer. The Apple-1 was Apple's first personal computer, which was then used as a circuit board kit for enthusiasts to solder. Later, on the advice of Paul Terrell, owner of the The Byte Shop store in Mountain View, Calif., Apple began to provide assembled computers. The check starts at more than $50, 000 and ends on August 24.
Another attractive item is a functioning Apple-1 computer in a handmade shell with Wozniak's signature "Woz" in the prototype area. The computer was bought by its current owner at a computer enthusiast show in Framingham, Massachusetts, in 1980 and was used throughout the 1980s. It was repaired by Corey Cohen at myapplecomputer Lab in May June 2023 and videos of its operation are available upon request. Cohen also provided a detailed technical status report for the computer. The starting price for the computer is more than $200,000, and the deadline is August 24.
In addition to the above items, the auction also includes the following rare Apple-related items:
Steve Jobs handwritten advertisement
Steve Jobs signs real estate documents
Steve Jobs signs contract with Microsoft Word
Seal the original 8GB iPhone
