Thanks to CTOnews.com netizens for the delivery of clues! CTOnews.com, July 31 (Xinhua) Qualcomm Technologies has announced a new long-term product plan for its Internet of things solution selection catalogue, which was launched on July 27 and will initially cover 16 different Qualcomm Internet of things system-on-chip (SoC).

CTOnews.com learned from Qualcomm that the SoC included in the long-term product plan is designed to address the life cycle needs of a variety of different industrial and enterprise use cases, including asset equipment tracking and testing, construction security, drones and warehouse management. The product life cycle of each solution in the catalog ranges from 7 years to 10 years to 15 years. With the launch of the new Qualcomm chip and the end of the life cycle of the previous chip, this directory will continue to be updated.

It is worth mentioning that Qualcomm launched a new Internet of things solution in April to promote the development of the next generation of Internet of things devices: Qualcomm QCS8550, Qualcomm QCM8550, Qualcomm QCS4490 and Qualcomm QCM4490 processors.

The new use case supports further expansion of the Internet of things ecosystem in areas such as video collaboration, cloud games, and retail, with integrated features including edge AI processing, high energy efficiency, ultra-clear video, and 5G connectivity.
