CTOnews.com Windowslatest reports that Microsoft is about to launch third-party AI plug-ins for Windows 11 Copilot and is soliciting feedback from developers to help shape the future of the operating system's "third-party AI plug-ins." Windows 11 Copilot is testing inbox, ChatGPT and Bing AI first-party plugins.

In a recent survey distributed to developers, Microsoft confirmed that Windows Copilot on Windows 11 will support third-party plug-ins. The survey, titled "Windows Copilot Plugins: Your Opinion Matters," aims to gather insights from qualified developers. Microsoft plans to interview qualified developers via a 30-minute Microsoft Teams call, and the company hopes to gather valuable feedback about plug-ins integrating with Windows Copilot.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Windows Copilot was launched by Microsoft earlier this year to provide users with centralized AI integration that can be easily opened from the taskbar and is consistent across all apps and windows, acting as a ready-to-use personal assistant. As with Bing Chat, users can ask Windows Copilot a variety of questions.
