CTOnews.com, July 29 (Xinhua) according to the latest report released by market research firm Counterpoint Research, smartphone sales in China fell 4% in the second quarter of 2023 compared with the same period last year, with Innovation's sales in the second quarter of 2014 at the lowest level.
The report points out that smartphone sales were low in April and May this year, but smartphone sales rose 25% month-on-month in June, boosted by 618 e-commerce activities.

By brand segment, Apple, Huawei and realme have achieved positive year-on-year growth.

With its good brand image and strong offline footprint, especially in first-tier cities, Huawei's sales soared after solving product shortages.
Glory and Xiaomi's market share fell in the second quarter of 2023 as competition intensified, but Glory's offline business in China has been catching up.
