Such as battery extrusion, vibration, free fall and other unexpected conditions, or in low pressure, high and low temperature and other special environment. In addition, the shell flame retardant, handle strength, waterproof and other indicators will also be included in the specification.

The standard is revised by Beijing Bicycle and Electric vehicle Industry Association in conjunction with relevant institutions and enterprises to improve the safety and stability of lithium batteries for electric bicycles and to prevent accidents such as explosion and fire caused by battery mismatch, assembly and modification, high temperature, collision and other reasons.

In the standards published at that time, some of the contents can be used for reference as follows

Battery pack and vehicle mutual recognition collaborative recognition function: it can prevent users from replacing unsuitable battery packs at will, resulting in incompatibility between batteries and vehicles.

Battery (monomer) heat abuse, acupuncture testing items: can detect whether the battery will rupture the diaphragm after high temperature or collision, causing internal short circuit or overheating

Battery pack overtemperature alarm function: when the internal temperature of the battery pack or the temperature of a battery reaches 80 ℃, the vehicle or battery pack should issue an alarm sound within 30 seconds.

In addition, the newly revised technical standard also defines the function of the battery pack management system (BMS), details the test methods such as data upload function and free fall, increases the safety items such as battery handle strength and salt spray, improves the stable performance requirements of the battery (single unit), and takes the lead in applying the mutual recognition and cooperative recognition function of the battery pack and the charging device.
