Vivo returned to the first place with 18% market share, with about 1140 shipments

OPPO (including one plus) ranked second with 18% share, with about 1140 units shipped

Apple ranks third with shipments of 1040 million units, making it the only manufacturer with a positive annual growth rate among the top five.

Glory followed closely with shipments of 1030 million units, accounting for 16% of the market share.

Xiaomi ranks fifth with 8.6 million units shipped, with a market share of 13%.

It should be noted that the data of the list uses a rounding algorithm and is not accurate, so the market share percentages of the two manufacturers are the same but the rankings are not the same.

The average price in China's smartphone market has exceeded $450 since last year and is expected to climb in the coming quarters. Apple and Huawei have achieved remarkable year-on-year growth with their flagship products, highlighting solid and sustained high-end demand. Manufacturers who benefit from product upgrading are being encouraged to invest more in product innovation to lead the technology trend. Recently released folding screen phones such as Honor Magic V2, vivo X Fold2 and Huawei Mate X3 have ignited channel and consumer enthusiasm for new forms and new use cases. "

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, the Canalys report also showed that global smartphone market shipments fell 10% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2023 to 258 million units, and the market recession slowed. Samsung took the lead with a market share of 21% (5300 units), while Apple took second place with a market share of 17%. Chinese manufacturers Xiaomi, OPPO and Chuanyuan ranked third to fifth on the list.
