Thank you, Mr. Air, a netizen of CTOnews.com, for your clue delivery! CTOnews.com, July 28, Ford released its second-quarter results earlier today. According to the data, Ford's total revenue for the quarter was $45 billion (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 322.2 billion yuan).

Model E (Electric vehicle) had revenue of $1.8 billion (currently about 12.888 billion yuan), up 39% from a year earlier.

‎ Ford Blue (fuel vehicles) has revenue of $25 billion (currently about 179 billion yuan), up 5% from a year earlier

‎ Ford Pro (Commercial vehicles / Services) had revenue of $15.6 billion (currently about 111.696 billion yuan), an increase of 22% year-on-year

Specifically, Ford's electric vehicles division (Model e) had total revenue of $1.8 billion in the quarter, which doubled from a month earlier, but had an operating loss of $1.08 billion (currently about 7.733 billion yuan) and an operating profit margin of-58.9%. According to official estimates, the electric vehicle business will lose about $4.5 billion (currently about 32.22 billion yuan) this year due to a changing pricing environment, new investment and other costs, which is 50 per cent higher than previously forecast.

On the sales side, after a month-on-month slump in the first quarter of this year, Ford's electric vehicles began to rise sharply in the second quarter, from 12000 to 34000.

Ford CEO Jim Farley pointed out that "the popularity of electric vehicles is slower than expected, which will benefit 'pioneers' like us. Our breakthrough digitization and electrification transition is still going on, but it will be 'very unstable'."

At the same time, Ford postponed its annual production target of 600000 vehicles to 2024-a year later than originally forecast. At first, Ford had planned to reach its target of producing 2 million electric vehicles a year by 2026, but the adjustment was not disclosed in its latest earnings report.

In addition, Ford's second-generation electric vehicles include the next-generation full-size pickup "T3 Project" and a large cross-border SUV with three rows of seats. According to previous news, the Ford T3 project will be launched in 2025.
