Win11 Build 23511 preview update: improved Windows focus (Windows Spotlight) Microsoft announced a unified Windows focus experience for Dev channel Windows Insider project members after several rounds of different style version testing.

The new Windows focus brings a number of features, including a full-screen preview of wallpaper and more information about wallpaper.

Users can enter Windows focus by right-clicking the Spotlight icon on the desktop.

You can also double-click the icon to jump directly to the Bing target page for more information about each image.

To enable Windows focus on your PC immediately, right-click the desktop and select Personalization, and then select the new Spotlight theme.

Users can also enable Windows focus directly by going to Settings > Personalization > background, and then selecting the option under the Personalization your background drop-down list.

Optimization and adjustment: when the [regular] system detects a problem with the camera stream (for example, the camera cannot be started, or the camera is occluded), a dialog box pops up. It is recommended to start automatic "get help" troubleshooting to solve the problem.

[Windows Copilot] Dev channel Windows Insider, which has logged in to the AAD (to be changed to Microsoft Entra ID) account, will notice that the Windows Copilot preview version can no longer be used in this version.

It's just a temporary problem. The temporary solution is that users can enable it through the Group Policy Editor and jump to user configuration > Administrative templates > Windows components > Windows Copilot path to enable.

It is also worth noting that Microsoft plans to change the name of the policy in future releases.

The Windows Copilot preview version will be enabled by default in future Win11 versions, and support for Bing Chat for Enterprise will be added.

[start menu] for users who log in to Windows 11 Pro or Enterprise using an AAD account (soon to be Microsoft Entra ID), Microsoft will provide a richer preview when you hover over files such as Word documents under recommendations on the start menu.

Microsoft said that it is currently in the development stage, thumbnails will not apply to all files, and will be further improved in the future.

On the start menu, under all applications, Windows 11 system components now display the system label. This change is being launched and is not currently available to all Dev channel users.

[taskbar and system tray] Microsoft has adjusted the notification icon so that if the ringtone icon is hollow without notification, if there is notification content, it will be solid.

[file Manager] optimizes performance to significantly reduce the computing phase time for sending a large number of files to the Recycle Bin.

[Snap Layouts] Microsoft fixed some of the problems that caused the app to crash and once again introduced Snap Layouts recommendation features to Dev channel users.

The recommendations in Snap Layouts can help you better put multiple application windows together. When you hover over the minimize or maximize button (or WIN + Z) on the application to launch the layout box, you will see the application icons displayed in various layout options to help recommend the best layout options.

[settings] improves the stability of the settings application. Microsoft disabled the new home page in Build 23506 last week and has now reopened it.

We began to introduce a new option under Settings > Bluetooth and Devices > phone links to disable phone links in Windows 11. This setting will prevent Phone Link from communicating with your mobile device.
