CTOnews.com July 28, AMD today released the R9 7945HX3D mobile processor, bringing 3D V-Cache technology to mobile.

In terms of parameters, the R9 7945HX3D processor consists of 16 cores and 32 threads, and the acceleration frequency is 5.4GHz. The amount of L2 cache L3 cache reaches 144MB. For comparison, AMD's previously released R9 7945HX has 16 cores and 32 threads, with an acceleration frequency of 5.4 GHz, L2 cache L3 cache and 80MB.

In terms of performance, the game performance of R9 7945HX3D is improved by 11% under 70W TDP and 23% under 40W TDP under 3D V-Cache.

In terms of overall game performance, R9 7945HX3D has a 15% improvement in 1080p games compared to R9 7945HX.

The AMD R9 7945HX3D processor will be available with ROG's new game book on August 22.
