"Generative Expand" is part of Adobe's Firefly artificial intelligence project. The project initially focused on image generation and text effects, and later added vector recoloring and Generative Fill functions. The Generative Fill feature allows users to fill white space in an image with one click, and a Photoshop beta was added in May this year. On the other hand, the "Generative Expand" function allows users to expand the canvas of the image and create content that matches the original image without giving any prompts. Cropping and expanding: you can get the composition you want by cropping in one direction and expanding in the other, and it's easy to operate.

Expand many times: enlarge your field of vision! Through the reuse of the "Generative Expand" function, the effect is better than expected.

Rotate and expand: when you rotate an image in the crop tool, you don't lose any pixels, you can use the "Generative Expand" function to fill the extended area.

Adobe says these artificial intelligence features are currently available only to Photoshop beta users and are expected to be officially released in the second half of 2023. In addition, this beta update also adds support for more than 100 languages for "Generative Expand" and Generative Fill functions.
