It is reported that last year, Meguiar built a 24Gb memory chip based on its 1 α (1-alpha) technology. Now, the 32Gb DDR5 chip will be manufactured using Meguiar's 1 β (1-beta) process, which is the company's most advanced production node. At present, Meguiar has not disclosed the data transmission rate of its 32Gb equipment.

32Gb DDR5 DRAM IC is mainly aimed at data center-level memory modules, paving the way for 1TB DDR5 modules (using 32 8-Hi 32Gb stacks), but Micron is in no hurry and will only provide 128GB DDR5 memory modules based on the chip next year. In the future, Micron plans to launch 192GB and 256GB DDR5 modules.

Meguiar's roadmap also includes GDDR7 video memory chips, which are expected to be mass produced in mid-2024 at a data transfer rate of 32 GT/s, with optional particle capacities of 16Gb and 24Gb.

As CTOnews.com reported earlier, Meguiar has now announced that its HBM3 Gen 2 memory is providing customers with samples with an aggregate bandwidth of 1.2TB / s and an 8-high stack capacity of 24GB.
