The FaceTime group supports up to 32 participants, but this update shows that the Vision Pro header shows a maximum of 9 participants at the same time.

A message with FaceTime reads: "you can fix up to 9 people. If you need to fix another person, you need to cancel another person first."

This does not mean that the group FaceTime does not support more than 9 people on the same call, but this is a limit for people who can fix the video to see them all the time during the call.

Unlike iPhone and iPad, Apple's Vision Pro does not support third-party applications to call built-in cameras for privacy reasons.

But Apple said the app would be able to capture photos and videos using the user's Persona, and visionOS Beta 2 renamed the camera setting to "Persona Virtual Camera".

Optic IDApple Vision Pro is equipped with Optic ID, which can scan the iris of the eye to authenticate the user, similar to Touch ID and Face ID.

When purchasing an application or using Apple Pay payment, it works similar to Face ID on iPhone and iPad, where the user must double-click the top button to confirm authentication.

Another detail is the Mac Display mode, which can turn the Apple Vision Pro header display into an external display of Mac, but requires Optic ID certification. In addition, Apple Pay is not supported in guest mode.

Installing an application from iPhone or iPad is like using iPhone to install an application on a paired Apple Watch, and the user can choose to install the application to Vision Pro from iPhone or iPad. The string added in iOS 17 Beta 4 says:

This application is only applicable to Apple Vision Pro

This will be downloaded to your Apple Vision Pro. If the download does not start automatically, open App Store on Apple Vision Pro and go to "purchased" to download it manually.
