CTOnews.com July 27 news, foreign technology media MacRumors dug deep into the iOS 17 Beta 4 preview update released by Apple yesterday and found nine custom options for the Action button in the code, allowing users to assign different actions according to their needs / preferences.

CTOnews.com previously reported that the sides of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Ultra (or iPhone 15 Pro Max) models have abandoned mute dials since 2007 and changed to Action buttons similar to Apple Watch Ultra, allowing users to customize according to their own preferences.

The code only mentions the functions related to the custom Action button, and the media inference function based on the relevant text is described as follows:

Auxiliary functions: users can customize various auxiliary functions such as outbound VoiceOver, Zoom, AssistiveTouch and so on.

Shortcuts: like Apple Watch Ultra, this option allows users to run any shortcuts they create or download from shortcut applications, such as sending messages, playing music lists, or controlling smart home devices.

The mute mode is similar to the mute pick on the current iPhone, and turning this option on allows the user to turn the mute mode on or off.

Camera: this option may allow the user to launch the camera application and / or take photos or videos by pressing the action button at a single time.

Flashlight: this option allows the user to turn on or off the flashlight on the back of the device.

Focus: allows Focus mode to be enabled or disabled

Magnifying glass: this option probably allows the user to trigger the magnifying glass application, using iPhone's camera as a magnifying glass to enlarge small text or objects.

This option allows the user to launch the translation application and start a conversation or text translation by clicking the Action button.

Voice Memos this option allows users to start or stop recording voice memos using the voice memo application.
