CTOnews.com, July 26 / PRNewswire-Asianet /-- Samsung held an Unpacked event in South Korea today, unveiling new devices such as folding screen phones, tablets and smartwatches, and will launch more products before the end of the year. One of the new products is the Galaxy S23 FE, a special version of Samsung's mobile phone aimed at fans. Samsung has now revealed that the new phone may be released soon.

When asked "there is a FE size vacancy between the Galaxy A545G and Galaxy S23", Justin Hume, vice president of Samsung Mobile South Africa, said, "We are about to release a new product," Android Authority reported. He did not mention the name of the phone, but Sammobile sources earlier confirmed that the next FE phone will be named the Galaxy S23 FE.

The appearance and configuration of the Galaxy S23 FE is no secret. Recently exposed renderings show that the phone looks similar to the Galaxy S23 and S23 + and may also share some specifications with them. On the chip side, Samsung will use last year's Exynos 2200 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 instead of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is used by Galaxy S23, which has been confirmed by the phone's benchmark list.

However, unlike almost all markets of the Galaxy S22 series that use Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chips, the Galaxy S23 FE is likely to use Qualcomm chips only in the United States and China, while Exynos 2200 chips will be used in other markets.

In addition to the Galaxy S23 FE, Samsung is also developing two FE tablets for the Galaxy Tab S9 series, but it is unclear when these tablets will be officially released or whether they will be released at the same time as the Galaxy S23 FE, and CTOnews.com will keep an eye on them.
