Porsche's sales rose 14.0% to 20.43 billion euros in the first half of this year, while operating profit rose 10.7% to 3.85 billion euros, according to the data.

In the Chinese market, Porsche delivered 43800 new cars from January to June this year, up 8 per cent from a year earlier. Sales of the two iconic models, the 911 and the Taycan, both achieved double-digit growth in the first half of this year, up 57 per cent and 46 per cent respectively from a year earlier. Meanwhile, Porsche's sales of change-of-hand cars are up 20% from the same period last year.
