According to reports, through the efficient development environment built by the integration of software and hardware, developers can deeply unlock the potential of Tianji 9200 series chips, create more mobile games that support ray tracing technology, and bring immersive light and shadow experience for players.

CTOnews.com noted that MediaTek's Tianji 9200 and Tianji 9200 + flagship mobile chips have taken the lead in supporting hardware ray tracing technology on mobile, and there are a number of mobile games developed using Unity engine that support ray tracing on terminal devices equipped with Tienji 9200 series mobile chips.

Unity China has brought Ray Query technology based on Vulkan and Unity URP to a large number of developers on the Tianji 9200 series of mobile chips, officials said. It not only provides developers with the infrastructure of mobile light tracking, but also implements soft shadow (Shadow), ambient light mask (AO), refraction (Refraction), reflection (Reflection) and so on as default light tracking effects. With the technical support provided by MediaTek, the performance output is strong and stable when ray tracing is enabled, which provides a sample case for developers to refer to, thus greatly improving the efficiency of Unity developers in tracking light onto the ground.
