CTOnews.com, July 26, Microsoft admits that BUG exists in desktop Outlook: after the default configuration saves the attachment to the network path, it gets stuck in the "connection" pop-up window for a long time before the "Save as" window appears in the load.

Microsoft said it has confirmed the above problems in versions such as Microso Current Channel Version 2304 (Build 16327.20214) and Monthly Enterprise Channel Version 2304 (Build 16327.20324).

Microsoft said that Outlook, Office and Windows Teams are currently investigating the issue. Before the patch is officially released, users have two options: either roll back to the previous version or disable the WebClient service. CTOnews.com attaches the following steps to disable the service:

Open services.msc from Win+R.

Locate the WebClient service and open its properties.

Stop the service and change the Startup Type to disabled.
