CTOnews.com, July 26, Google is currently developing and testing a "link preview" (Link Preview) feature in Chrome browsers. After a user hovers over a link on a web page, the page automatically pops up a preview window showing the content of the page.

Users can preview the contents of the page in the current pop-up window before deciding whether to open a link. This not only saves time, but also reduces unnecessary loading and traffic usage, which may change the way users interact with Web content.

Among the options outlined in the development documentation, users can open these previews in new tabs or side panels, further enhancing the flexibility of the browsing experience.

Google also mentioned the idea of "Ephemeral Window and Tabs" (temporary windows and tabs), inspired by the Android version of Chrome, to create a temporary window that can create multiple preview tabs in each standard tab.
