Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard has so far been approved by 39 governments, and Microsoft and Activision Blizzard recently signed an agreement to extend the deadline for completing the deal to October 18.

The biggest obstacle to the deal is the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), which rejected Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard in April, fearing damage to competition in the cloud gaming market.
