CTOnews.com reported on July 26 that Audi officially provided a set of Audi Q6 and Q6 e-tron prototypes for test driving in the Faroe Islands, followed by a large number of live pictures of the model released by foreign media. let's take a look at it.

Audi's Q6 e-tron positioning pure electric SUV, between Q4 E-Tron and Q8 E-Tron, will be released by the end of this year, and then it will be produced in Audi FAW New Energy vehicle Co., Ltd. next year and will be launched in 2025, based on Porsche's shared PPE platform.

The new car will have two models, the 55 e-tron and the SQ6 e-tron, both of which will use 100kWh batteries and dual motors.

Audi expects the Q655 e-tron to have a power of 375hp and can increase its output power to 396hp through software. It is expected to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in less than 6 seconds, with a WLTP standard range of 373mph (CTOnews.com Note: about 600.29 km).

The SQ6's basic output power is expected to be 483hp, but Boost to 509hp, so it has better performance and faster acceleration. Audi estimates that it takes less than 4.5s to accelerate from zero to 60mph, which means that SQ6 will beat SQ5 on this standard.

In terms of appearance, the new car uses a closed grille design in the middle, which is also in line with Audi's family-style electric design concept, in which radar and active safety systems with adaptive cruise control systems are expected to be installed. At the same time, the new car will also adopt the popular split headlamp design.

From the side, the D-pillar is similar to shark's fin and looks a bit like a coupe, but maintains the lines of the sedan SUV and has a stronger sense of movement. The new car also uses 21-inch double five-frame wheels, with a waistline running from the front to the rear, but does not use the popular hidden door handle.

Its front Logo uses a two-dimensional luminous style, and the headlights use the second-generation LED technology. Users can personalize it through MMI or mobile phone App, as well as the way the daily driving lights are displayed.

In terms of the rear, the new car adopts a short rear suspension design, which further improves the handling of the whole car. The taillight adopts Audi's iconic through-through design, and the interior of the lamp group on both sides adopts geometric crystals and supports different styles of lights.

According to reports, the external dimensions of the Audi Q6 and SQ6 e-tron are similar to those of the oil truck Q5. However, the front and rear suspension of electric models is shorter and the wheelbase is longer.

Both the Audi Q6 and SQ6 are equipped with 21-inch wheels and air spring suspensions, according to test drivers. Although the configuration is similar, the higher-performing SQ6 has a smaller roll and feels easier to control when turning.

It is worth mentioning that the new e-tron SUV is the first Audi electric car with a single pedal driving function, and I don't know how users will react.

Thanks to the 800V electrical architecture, this model can achieve the maximum charging power of the 270kW. For example, you can charge from 10 to 80% in 30 minutes on the Tesla V4 supercharging station in 350kW.
