CTOnews.com July 26 news, OpenAI officials recently updated the press release, due to the accuracy of only 26%, announced the suspension of AI text detection tool-AI Classifier.

The tool is mainly used to distinguish whether text is written by a human or generated by AI, but after launch, OpenAI found that it was not very accurate. CTOnews.com note: OpenAI did not post a specific blog post to shut down the service, but updated the original blog post and announced the change in the article.

OpenAI revealed that the tool had serious accuracy problems and could not reliably identify content. The report says the accuracy of identifying AI-generated content is 26%, and 9% of human-written text errors are marked as AI-generated.

"We are working to integrate feedback, are currently working on more effective text provenance technology, and are committed to developing and deploying mechanisms to enable users to know whether audio or visual content is generated by AI," OpenAI said.
