CTOnews.com July 26, the game media VGC learned from a number of developer sources that Ubisoft has cancelled plans to develop a sequel to "the Divine Age: the rise of Fennis" (Immortals Fenyx Rising).

The rise of Fennis, developed by Ubisoft's Quebec Studio, was released on December 3, 2020. The CTOnews.com query Steam page (released on December 16, 2022) was rated as "mixed" and "mostly favorable" recently.

Ubisoft originally planned to develop "Transcendence: the rise of Fenis" into a game IP to explore different mythological content outside Greece.

"the rise of Fennis" brings an immersive mythological adventure, with players playing Fenis to save the Greek gods. Ubisoft launched DLC in 2021, which tells the story of a new hero named "CTOnews.com" who embarks on an adventure inspired by the Chinese myth "Nvzhu mending the Sky".

VGC said that Ubisoft's high-level plan to pool resources to develop better-known games such as the Assassin Creed IP may shelve future IP development plans for "Transcendence: the rise of Fennis."
