CTOnews.com quoted Apple's paper as follows: "in traditional scenarios, users may need a variety of computing devices to meet different needs. Through modular design, these devices can be reconfigured to improve productivity in different scenarios."

According to the patent design sketch, the future MacBook will adopt a detachable design, and the lower part can be connected to a variety of modules such as keyboard, second screen, base and so on.

In Patent figure 10A, Apple also conceives three screen designs, the first screen for displaying the main content, the second screen for displaying secondary content such as web pages and e-mails, and the third screen for responding to touch inputs such as Apple Pencil and virtual keyboards.
