TechInsights analysts say it is expected that the channel share of global smartphone operators will continue to recover slowly from 2022 to 2023. It is expected to peak in 2025 (driven by 5G demand and the launch of Apple and other folding screen products), indicating that the channel is mature (in line with the sales demand of 5G smartphones) and will then decline throughout the forecast window until 2028.

According to the channel trend chart, Tuyuan TechInsightsTechInsights said that the sales of operators' channels mainly occur in physical stores and interact face-to-face with sales representatives through offline channels. It is expected that during the forecast window before 2028, direct sales and pure e-commerce by mobile phone manufacturers will gain market share at the expense of large retailers, mobile phone retailers and independent retailers.

Tuyuan TechInsightsCTOnews.com previously reported that according to TechInsights, smartphone sales during the 618 period were 13.4 million, down 7% from the same period last year, which shows that online sales have weakened further this year.

Data show that Apple, Xiaomi and Glory still ranked in the top three in terms of shipments during June 18 this year. Apple sold 5.628 million iPhone phones during this year, with a market share of 42%. Xiaomi, which ranked second, sold 3.752 million phones during this period, accounting for 28% of the market share, and Glory sold 1.206 million phones, ranking third on the list with a market share of 9%.
