Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

CTOnews.com July 25 news, Ubisoft recently launched a campaign to clean up the game account, causing a lot of negative comments from players. In response to players' complaints and pressure, Ubisoft's senior corporate communications manager, Jesse Carroch (Jessica Roache), issued a statement through the media The Verge, making it clear that player accounts with purchase records will not be cleaned up.

CTOnews.com reported last week that Ubisoft sent an email to the player informing the user to log in to the game account within the next 30 days, otherwise all games and game equipment purchased under the account will be emptied.

Ubisoft said in a statement that it needs to go through the following four steps before cleaning up player accounts:

Clear the game activities since the creation of the account

The game library created by this account: if it contains purchased PC games, then the account does not meet the cleaning criteria and will not be deleted.

The duration of the inactivity of the account means the last login to our ecosystem (including Ubisoft games from Steam and other platforms). Ubisoft says it has not deleted accounts that have been inactive for 4 years.

The activities subscribed to by this account

In other words, if players have previously purchased assets such as games, they do not have to worry about being cleaned up; if you have not purchased game content and have not logged in for 4 years or more, Ubisoft will clean up the relevant accounts.
