CTOnews.com Pocket-lint reports that reliable sources have revealed that Samsung may consider re-using its own Exynos chip in several future phones, including the Galaxy S23 FE and Galaxy S24 series in some regions.

Samsung Galaxy S23 series is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy chip, which has higher clock frequency and performance advantages than ordinary Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform.

Samsung will reportedly launch the Galaxy S23FE phone in the second half of 2023, another "fan version" phone after the S20FE, designed to meet the needs of some loyal users. However, the phone will carry Samsung's own Exynos chip, not Snapdragon.

In addition, the source also revealed that Samsung currently plans to return to Exynos chips in the Galaxy S24 series released in 2024, which means that Samsung's cooperation with Qualcomm may only be short-lived. However, the Galaxy S24 series in the U.S. market may still use Snapdragon chips, while the European market may use Exynos chips.

Samsung has previously used this strategy of regional differentiation, offering Exynos versions of phones to European markets and Snapdragon versions to other markets such as China and the United States.
