CTOnews.com July 25 news, Apple today pushed macOS 13.5 update (build number: 22G74) to Mac computer users, this update from the last release 32 days.

This update basically has no new features. According to Apple support documentation, it mainly fixes the accidental disconnection of SATA hard disk on Mac Pro (2023). Before Mac wakes up from sleep, it sometimes prompts "Disk does not eject normally."

In addition, this issue may also be resolved in macOS Sonoma Beta.

To prevent your Mac from automatically going to sleep, change the sleep settings on your Mac:

Choose Apple menu> System Settings, and then click Monitor.

Click Advanced, then turn on Prevent automatic sleep when monitor is off.

Click Finish.

In addition, Apple fixed 16 vulnerabilities for iOS 16.6, iPadOS 16.6, macOS Ventura 13.5, watchOS 9.6 and tvOS 16.6. The 16 fixed bugs cover categories such as Kernel, Find My, WebKit, and Apple Neural Engine. Apple says two of them may have been actively exploited.

It should be noted that due to the cache configuration problem of Apple's regional node servers, there may be a slight delay in detecting upgrade updates in some places, generally within half an hour, not too long.
