Before this month, Hangzhou and Chengdu had established regional branches of Jidu Science and Technology Service Co., Ltd.

According to the data, the legal representatives of these service companies are Xia Yiping, CEO of Jidu Automobile, with registered capital of RMB 10 million yuan mostly. The business scope includes sales of new energy vehicles, development of artificial intelligence basic software/application software, sales of new energy vehicle replacement facilities, etc. These service companies located all over the country have been established in recent days, which means that the first production car of Jidu brand will further accelerate the pace of delivery on the market.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Jidu Automobile currently launched ROBO-01, ROBO-01 lunar exploration limited edition two models, expected to be delivered this year. ROBO-01 has a length, width and height of 4853mm / 1990mm / 1611mm, wheelbase of 3000mm, drag coefficient of 0.249 and trunk storage space of 555L.

ROBO-01 comes standard with Qualcomm's fourth generation Snapdragon digital cockpit platform, adopts "vision + lidar" automatic driving scheme, equipped with 31 external sensors and two lidar as standard. The car will be equipped with the core function of high-level intelligent driving system-point-to-point navigation assistance PPA, and its high-level intelligent driving has the capability of "three-domain integration" covering high speed, city and parking.

In addition, on February 14 this year, Xia Yiping, CEO of Jidu, announced that Jidu's "automobile robot"(official positioning of vehicle models) will integrate Baidu Wenxin's comprehensive capabilities, and will "create the first large-model artificial intelligence interaction experience for intelligent automobile scenes, and support the re-advancement of natural communication of automobile robots."

Founded in March 2021, Baidu and Geely own 55% and 45% respectively, and delivery of their first models is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2023, although Jidu did not participate in the 2023 Shanghai Auto Show.
