Under the background that global chip demand is still not optimistic, Intel, whose revenue has fallen sharply year-on-year for five consecutive quarters, is still not optimistic in the second quarter.

In its first-quarter results released on April 27th, Intel expects second-quarter revenue of $1.15 billion to $12.5 billion, with a gross margin of 33.2% under GAAP and an estimated loss of 62 cents per share.

According to Intel's expectations, its revenue in the second quarter will still fall sharply from the same period a year earlier, but it is expected to grow from a month earlier.

In the second quarter of last year, Intel's revenue was $15.3 billion and is expected to fall by more than 18% year-on-year to $11.5-12.5 billion in the second quarter of this year. In the first quarter of this year, Intel had revenue of $11.7 billion, and as long as its revenue in the second quarter was more than $200 million higher than the expected floor, it will increase month-on-month.
