However, the recommended parts are not dynamic or interactive, so there are many disgruntled users, but that may soon change.

Microsoft has added a new thumbnail preview feature to the Win11 23H2 version of the start menu, so you can hover over any file (.txt, .pdf, .jpg, etc.) to see a quick preview, similar to the file explorer thumbnail and details pane.

However, Microsoft has not yet confirmed the update of the new Windows 11 start menu, so the feature is not available at this time.

In addition, the Windows 11 23H2 update brings many new features, such as Windows Copilot and the new file explorer, and introduces "never merge mode" for the taskbar, which you can find in Settings > personalization > Taskbar > Taskbar behavior, which allows you to disable the merge state of the taskbar icon.

Currently, Microsoft is actively testing Beta and Dev versions that include autumn updates, while the current Dev version contains more features than the Beta version.
