After the FTTR master gateway is opened, how to open the slave gateway and realize the master-slave gateway networking?

After the master gateway is opened, only connect the optical interface of the slave gateway to the downlink optical interface of the master gateway through the optical distribution panel, plug and play, no special configuration is required, and the opening and MESH networking are completed when the indicator light of the slave gateway changes to blue light.

Note: To ensure that the receiving and transmitting optical power should be within the standard range, see the table below for the range.

After the master gateway of LAN networking of slave gateway is opened, only LAN port 1 of slave gateway needs to be connected to LAN port of master gateway for Internet service, plug and play, no special configuration is required, and the opening and MESH networking are completed when the indicator light of slave gateway changes to blue light.

Note: Slave gateway only supports LAN1 port adaptation.

Master-slave gateway WLAN networking method 1: After the master gateway is opened, the master-slave gateway first establishes the network through optical fiber or network cable, and then unplugs the optical fiber or network cable. Wait for about 30 seconds, and then the wireless networking can be automatically completed.

Method 2: After the master gateway is opened, press the master gateway key, and the WPS indicator will flash regularly. Press the slave gateway WPS key within 90 seconds, and the WAN indicator will turn blue and flash regularly. When the slave gateway indicator turns blue and is always on, it means that the networking is successful.

The WPS button of the master gateway and the WPS button of the slave gateway are shown in the following figure:

Note 1: Since the slave gateway needs to synchronize the wireless parameter configuration of the master gateway after networking, the red light will be disconnected after the first successful networking. After automatic reconnection, the blue light can be used normally. This phenomenon is not a fault.

Note 2: Wireless networking only supports Internet access services.
