CTOnews.com July 23, Meta announced this week that it will soon launch a v56 update on the Meta Quest VR header.

This update will bring many important improvements, including new accessibility, keystroke remapping, system-wide local dimming, and the return of Facebook live streaming. The v56 update also introduces hand tracking version 2.2, which, according to Meta, reduces latency by 40% in normal action and 75% in fast action.

To show how much hand tracking has improved, Meta has launched a new hand tracking demo game called Move Fast. The game can be downloaded for free on App Lab, Meta's VR market for games and apps that have not yet been approved by the official store.

Move Fast is a rhythmic VR game similar to existing Beat Saber or Litesport, except that players do not need to use a handle, but use their own hands to hit, cut and block the target.
