Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen OC_Formula for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com, July 23-A World of Warcraft player tricked AI into writing fake news by posting a non-existent feature called "Glorbo".

CTOnews.com learned from Reddit that The Portal is a website that uses AI to publish articles about World of Warcraft and other games. A Reddit user noticed that the site automatically grabbed posts from the Reddit World of Warcraft sub-section to generate content, so a user named "kaefer_kriegerin" posted some fake news about the "Glorbo" feature.

On the same day the article was released, the AI gaming website published an article summarizing Kaefer's posts and other Reddit users' comments-even though it was all made up. The site then deleted the post, and players in the Reddit sub-section of World of Warcraft laughed at the site's robots for failing to verify the authenticity of the news.

In subsequent updates, kaefer_kriegerin said it hopes to further damage news written by AI and other Reddit subsections.
