CTOnews.com, July 23 (Xinhua) according to the China manned Space Engineering Office, the application system for the space science and application project of the China Space Station has been officially launched, and Gui Haichao, China's first payload expert, invited colleagues from the major scientific and technological circles to the Tiangong to do experiments.

As a "national space laboratory" with the most comprehensive coverage of space science-related disciplines, the strongest on-orbit support capacity, and unique advantages such as human participation and up-and-down transportation, the space station has deployed international first-class scientific research and technology test facilities in orbit, and currently has the ability to carry out space science research on a large scale.

According to the CTOnews.com inquiry, the China manned Space Engineering Office issued the Space Science and Application Project Guide for Space Station Application and Development Engineering (V1.0) in June to solicit space science and application projects from the whole society.

Officials say space science and application projects are openly solicited to promote the all-round development of China's space science, space applications and space technology. The collection covers four major fields: space science and human body research, microgravity physics science, space astronomy and earth science, new space technology and application, with a number of topics and directions in each field.

According to reports, China's space station module is equipped with scientific experiment cabinets, technical test cabinets and support systems, as well as exposure test platforms, standard load interfaces, and large load hanging points outside the module, which can support scientific research, technical tests and applications in many fields.

In addition, the China manned Space Engineering Office also announced that it will continue to make use of Tianzhou cargo spacecraft to provide the whole society with the opportunity to carry scientific trials (practical) tests.
