CTOnews.com, July 22 (Xinhua) Gallup recently conducted a survey of 1001 South Korean adults and found that young people prefer Apple's iPhone in Samsung's home market.

The report shows that 69% of smartphone users surveyed use Samsung phones and 23% use Apple iPhone.

But among the younger generation (18-29), iPhone accounts for 60%, more than twice as many as Samsung owners (32%).

In the over-40 age group, Samsung phones have a decisive advantage over apple, accounting for about 80%.

LG has a 20 per cent market share among people over the age of 70.
