It will fill the gap in the brand's layout in the small pure electricity sector and "inject new vitality into the small pure electricity market".

According to Dongfeng Motor official introduction, in February this year, Dongfeng's "Dongfeng Nano" officially began to operate as an independent brand. The brand will have a new platform for its own new energy architecture, which claims to have the characteristics of "cost-effective, flexible and expandable electronic architecture". The first model based on this platform will be launched this year.

CTOnews.com previously reported that on March 26 this year, Dongfeng Automobile Nanotechnology Co., Ltd. held its first partner meeting and released the brand 2023-2025 strategic plan.

Yang Yanding, chairman of Dongfeng Nano, said that relying on the profound technology accumulation of Dongfeng's technology center, it will continue to push through the old and bring forth the new, launch 1-2 new models every year, and achieve sales of more than 400000 vehicles by 2025.

The brand already has a Dongfeng Nano BOX model on sale, positioning pure electric small SUV, with a price range of 65700-71700 yuan. The owner of the car hits the young market with a length, width and height size of 3732 x 1579 x 1515mm and a wheelbase of 2423mm. The mileage under the CLTC condition is 331km. In January this year, Dongfeng Nano BOX launched a lower-priced "light breeze version" with a mileage 201km with a price range of 59700-64700 yuan.
