Roblox spokesperson said via email: "Roblox is aware of third-party security issues and there are indications that some visitors have unauthorized access to limited personal information of members of our creator community. We hired independent experts to support the investigation led by our information security team. Affected developers will receive an email informing them of the follow-up steps we are taking to support them. We will continue to be vigilant in monitoring and reviewing the cybersecurity posture of Roblox and our third-party vendors. "

The report pointed out that the information was originally leaked on December 18,2020 and was not exposed until July 18,2023, with a total of 3943 accounts leaked. In addition to the above information, the leaked information even included everyone's T-shirt size.

A source who declined to be named said the leak had been exposed in Roblox's niche community as early as 2021, but Roblox did not publicly disclose the incident or alert anyone affected until a few days ago when the leak appeared on a public forum.
