CTOnews.com July 21 news, Toyota Motor Corporation filed a trademark application with the European Union Intellectual Property Office on July 19, 2023, seeking to protect the "Lexus TZ" trademark, indicating that the company is developing an electric SUV.

According to the brand name including "TZ450e" and "TZ550e," judging from the suffix "e," it should belong to the electric vehicle type.

Based on the information available, the new TZ will likely share design elements with the RZ, featuring an aerodynamic spindle body, illuminated Lexus logo and full-width taillights to provide a sporty and modern look.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Toyota Group announced that it will produce electric vehicles in Kentucky in 2025 and is expected to be responsible for producing Lexus TZ models.
