CTOnews.com, July 20 (Xinhua) British antitrust regulators are waiting for Microsoft to submit a revised deal to acquire Activision Blizzard, the developer of call of Duty, Sky News reported.

The head of the agency, Sarah Cardell, said on Thursday that they were aware that Microsoft wanted to make some proposals to restructure the deal and that it might re-announce new deals to address their competition concerns. If Microsoft does so, they will carefully consider these restructured proposals, she said.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Microsoft and Activision Blizzard have signed an agreement to extend the deadline for completing the acquisition to October 18. The biggest obstacle to the deal is the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA). Earlier this week, a London court formally suspended Microsoft's appeal against CMA blocking its acquisition plan.
