Currently, Ziguang Zhanrui has taken the lead in completing 5G NTN (non-terrestrial network, non-terrestrial network) data transmission, short message, call, location sharing and other functions and performance tests with industry partners such as China Telecom, China Mobile, ZTE, vivo, Mobile Communications, Shide Technology, Pengxian Wuyu, Bai Caibang and other industry partners based on V8821.

Ziguang Zhanrui said it participated in completing the first directly connected satellite outfield verification of 5G NTN mobile phone in China. By adopting vivo highly integrated RF antenna scheme and vivo satellite communication terminal prototype with embedded purple light Zhanrui V8821 chip, it realized the uplink and uplink connection of 5G NTN mobile phone directly connected to satellite under Tiantong satellite environment, and realized the interworking between vivo mobile phones, successfully demonstrated the business of sending and receiving text messages with satellite communication, and its function and performance met expectations.

Ziguang Zhanrui said that in the future, it will work with vivo to actively promote the landing of commercial mobile phone products to meet the communication needs of users in more scenarios.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, vivo displayed a satellite communications prototype at the partner booth at the MWC site this year, which is the first mobile phone terminal in China to achieve 5G NTN (non-terrestrial network, non-terrestrial network) direct satellite outfield verification and send and receive satellite short messages.
