CTOnews.com, July 20, according to the interface news, SAIC said today that SAIC and Audi had reached a consensus to speed up the development of electric vehicles through cooperation on the rumors that Audi had bought the SAIC electric platform. The two sides agreed that China's auto market is undergoing an unprecedented transformation, so it will further deepen strategic cooperation and open a new chapter of cooperation to provide a guarantee for win-win results.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Audi officially announced a few days ago that it would cooperate with domestic new energy brands to use domestic platforms to produce pure electric models.

According to the data, Audi sold 118200 pure electric vehicles worldwide in 2022, an increase of about 44 per cent over the same period last year, of which sales of pure electric vehicles in China increased by only 9.8 per cent.

According to Audi's plan, Audi will offer five locally produced pure electric models in China and about 30 new energy vehicles worldwide by 2025.
