The report also points out that OLED has less than 3 per cent penetration in other applications such as televisions, laptops and tablets.

In order to further improve the market penetration of OLED, panel manufacturers, on the one hand, are facing more severe technical challenges and constantly improving panel specifications; on the other hand, they need to effectively reduce costs to meet market expectations.

At present, China's AMOLED panel production capacity accounts for about 43.7% of the world, slightly lower than that of South Korean panel manufacturers.

As the current production capacity of AMOLED is in a state of oversupply, the scale of production capacity will continue to expand in the future, and enterprises with pure OLED as products still need to face financial pressure in operation.
