CTOnews.com, July 18 (Xinhua)-- Intel is expected to release a small enhanced version of Core 14-generation desktop processors, or 13-generation Core, in October. Previously, it was rumored that the flagship model i9-14900K would reach 6.2GHz, but according to benchlife, i9-14900K may not reach 6.2GHz, but 6GHz is basically guaranteed.

Benchlife said that the Raptor Lake-S Refresh processor, or Core 14, will be launched in mid-October, with the first three K-series models, i9-14900K (KF), i7-14700K (KF) and i5-14600K (KF), with the following parameters:

I9-14900K:8 Magnus + 16 Micronucleus, 3.2-6GHz

I7-14700K:8 Magnus + 12 Micronucleus, 3.4-5.6GHz

I5-14600K:6 Magnus + 8 Micronucleus, 3.5-5.3GHz

Benchlife said that from the i9-14900K Pre-QS version, it does not reach the frequency of 6.2GHz, but does not rule out the increase in frequency in the official version.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, both Intel 600th and 700th series motherboards will support Core 14 desktop processors. Various motherboard manufacturers will also launch new 700 series motherboards to add new features such as Wi-Fi 7.
